1. Three weeks field survey of the Hail-Qassim region in Saudi Arabia; 1982 summer, for CID Research. Data was collected for environmental problems of nomadic grazing resources.
2. Many field surveys were carried out in the field of botany, animal production and agronomy during 1980, in the western region of Saudi Arabia.
3. In the United States of America, I had the opportunity to do many fieldwork studies in grazing and woodland resources inventory for grazing and other natural resources management plans.
4. In 1984 summer, I attended the Holistic Resource Management course, which was given by Allan Savory, Albuquerque, New Mexico. During the same summer, I visited two natural resource projects of the Salt River Project and San Pedro Project Arizona, U.S.A. I also attended short training courses in “Resource Development of Watershed Lands”, “Forestry in Arid Environment”, and “Soil and Water Conservation”.
5. Assisting in the project of: “The Environmental impact of sewage water of Makkah AL-Mokkrama in Wadi Noaman”, and in doing some field experiments on growing field crops in relation to the same project. [1998-1999]
6. 2003, Participation in Survey of Damage to Terrestrial and Groundwater Resources. Conducted by Environmental Consulting Bureau. Written report Submission to United Nations Compensation Commission (UNCC) and Presidency of Meteorology and Environment.
7. 2004, Participation in Ecosystem Restoration Technology of Terrestrial Resources. Conducted by Environmental Consulting Bureau. Written report Submission to United Nations Compensation Commission (UNCC) and Presidency of Meteorology and Environment.
8. 2005, Participation in and completed an environmental impact assessment for raw material mining (Limestone and Sand) and cement manufacturing factory site located in Durmah District, 150 km. west of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
9. 2005, Participation in and completed an environmental impact assessment on vegetation assessment for comparison of species diversity SABIC Project located in Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
10. 2005, Participation in an environmental impact assessment for
vegetation terrestrial ecology survey for AL-Shoaiba (Phase III)
IWPP desalination plant.
